Formed by Chad Raines in Austin, Texas in the 2000s, The Simple Pleasure has been a collective of musicians interpreting and performing his music through the years, notably as an opening act for Amanda Palmer on international tours and several independent national tours. Admiral Grey joined TSP as an occasional vocalist and keyboardist in 2010 and the band morphed into a duo in 2014 with Admiral Grey on bass and additional vocals. The band continues as a duo and will release a new album in 2019.
