August 9 : Work in progress showing : Art Yard Developmental residency with Robin Frohardt for “shopping center parking lot”
Shopping Center Parking Lot (working title, currently in development) is a live-cinema performance and film that blends puppetry, prose, live score, and intricate handmade cardboard sets. This speculative non-fiction piece, grounded in reality yet deeply reflective, offers a poetic meditation on our relationship with the natural world. Birding for Beginners is a deliciously slo burning 12 hour American voyage, fashioned after the seabound pelagic birding tour. A sequel to Hamlet meets Colonial Williamsburg, shot in the desert.
